PDP Chairman of Ishielu local government area in Ebonyi
State, Emeka Nworie and another individual named Mike Ojor were shot dead this
morning April 11, by unknown gunmen.
According to Vanguard reports, the killers are suspected to be some
thugs from the opposition political party in the state. An unidentified source
told the reporters that the gunmen shot Nworie at his residence in Ezzagu in
Ishielu LGA.
Police spokesman, Chris Anyanwu confirmed the incident, by stating
that they assailants robbed Nworie, taking a large sum of money from him before
killing him.
